While screening technologies have grown increasingly sophisticated, testing has never been easier. METSCheck, Inc. offers several methods of drug screening for companies, organizations and individuals. Samples are collected using urine, saliva or hair samples. Urine with Certified Laboratory Testing – One of the most reliable and least expensive forms of drug testing. This procedure requires a urine sample from the donor, which is then sent to a lab for processing. Turnaround time is 24 to 48 hours. Urine Instant Testing – The recent advent of instant testing has made impromptu testing much more convenient. Results are available within minutes. If a non-negative specimen is detected, the specimen is sent to the lab for confirmation. Saliva Testing at Certified Laboratory – Oral fluids are collected from the donor and sent to a lab for processing. Turnaround time is 24 to 48 hours. Saliva Instant Testing – Oral fluids are collected from the donor and then exposed to a detection device. Results are available within minutes. Hair Follicle Testing – While this is the most expensive detection method, hair follicle testing detects any drug use within a 90-day window. Turnaround time is generally seven days. Safeguards in the collection process are designed to insure accuracy. Urine specimens are checked for correct temperature to avoid substitution by the donor. Additionally, specimens processed by the lab are also tested for adulteration. Positive results are retested to confirm the positive results before reporting. |
