We only utilize laboratories that are accredited by nationally approved organizations and offer a nationwide network of trained collectors and can accommodate both in-office or on-site collections. Alcohol testing is conducted using a Breathalyzer or by a saliva test strip. Breath Testing – Currently the standard for detecting alcohol levels in the donor system. This test requires the donor to blow into a breath alcohol machine that provides immediate results. DOT compliant tests are printed in a report that is legally admissible. A more informal and less expensive test is available with a verbal or written report. Saliva Instant Testing – Completed using oral fluids from the donor. Results are available within minutes.
